    The Information Technology Department (IT Department) is one of the many departments of British business giant, Reynholm Industries. The IT Department is one of the smallest departments in Reynholm Industries, with only four workers there. The department’s headquatres is the dingy, unkept basement of Reynholm Industries, far away from the other departments. The department’s intention is to upload protective software such as firewalls to protect the many computers of Reynholm Industries, as well as to assist any employee of the company if they are having trouble with their computer. The IT worker can give advice over the phone or can go to the computer in question and fix it by hand.

    A skyway was similar to a highway, with airspace set aside for the general public to drive flying vehicles. Signs and lane markers for the skyways floated in the sky. Skyways were constructed throughout the planet sometime after 1985, and were in full operation in 2015. Local skyways connected to hyperlanes with access to major international cities on other continents. The hyperlane closest to Hill Valley offered access to Phoenix, Boston and London. Floating signs would indicate exits, destinations, and even travel conditions for the skyway, including winds, weather, and even ozone. There were separators between the lanes, and these could move if necessary to avoid a collision, albeit returning to a fixed location in the sky.  The equivalent of a “traffic jam” was if the skyway was “skewed”, with traffic being unable to move in any direction— forward, backward, up or down. On October 21, 2015, the skyway from the Courthouse Mall to Hilldale was skewed.

The command center can pick up stakes and move on to new mineral or vespene deposits. They also have the ability to manufacture SCVs and serve as the return point for mining vehicles. With pressed metal plates, command centers are heavily armored and sturdy, though are slow moving whilst in flight, where they are at their most vulnerable.Structurally, the command center is as wide as it is tall (3 stories), easily identifiable from a distance through its flashing beacons. Massive repulsor landing claws support the main bulk of the structure with external ablative plates reinforcing the main hull. Observation towers, antennae, sensor domes and other similar devices are situated above the center proper. Processors are also maintained to process resources, taking up the bulk of the command center’s external space. Through jumpjets, Command Centers are capable of being transported to other locations, though all other systems must be shut down for this to occur.
